Pink Moon in Libra Ritual

Release • Rebalance • Return to Self

For centuries, full moons have been honored as a time of release. The April full moon, known as the Pink Moon, was named by early Native American tribes after the blooming of wild pink phlox, one of the first signs of spring and renewal.

It marks a shift.

A soft awakening.

A time to let go of what you’ve been carrying through the heavier seasons.

This full moon in Libra, the sign of balance, relationships, and truth, invites you to reflect on where you’ve been out of alignment.

Where you’ve over-given.

Where you’ve stayed too long.

Where you’ve chosen peace over your own needs.

This is your moment to come back to center.

Journal Prompts

Take a few quiet moments and be honest with yourself.

  • Where in my life have I been over-giving or overextending?

  • What feels heavy… but familiar?

  • Where have I been choosing comfort over truth?

  • What relationship (including with myself) feels out of balance?

  • What am I afraid will happen if I let this go?

  • What would it feel like to choose myself without guilt?

Release Ritual

When you’re ready, write down what you are ready to release. Not what sounds good, but what you can feel in your body. A pattern. A belief. A dynamic relationship. Something you’ve been carrying for too long. Read it back to yourself.

Acknowledge it. Honor what it taught you. And then……burn it. Let the ashes return to the earth.

As it burns, say:

I release what is no longer aligned with me.

I no longer carry what was never mine.

I choose balance. I choose myself.

Let it go.

Reminder

You don’t have to keep choosing what drains you just because you’re used to it. Let this be the month you stop over-giving…stop overthinking…and stop carrying what was never yours.
